Good location, off a busy roundabout at the top of a steep hill from the town but was ok. Rooms were clean but basic but that’s all we needed and for the money you really can’t grumble.
Stayed here on business trip. Very friendly efficient reception staff. Room was very clean and fresh. Bed was comfortable. No complaints. A bonus was the Starbucks right next door. Location of hotel was 20 minutes taxi drive from nearest train station. Was lucky that a taxi was dropping someone at station so got that one. Otherwise would advise prebooking where possible.
Very basic rooms. Had to use this option as most of the other hotels were fully booked. No frills. No gimmicks. No breakfast! Soon resolved that by visiting the pub across the road for a very tasty full English!
Really nice service and very friendly staff. They are very accommodating. The beds are comfortable. There’s plenty of hot water. It’s a little plain for decoration, but it’s a great price. And there’s a Starbucks right there as well. No, you do have to pay 4 pounds per day for Internet, but the speed is pretty good It’s literally a two minute drive to downtown where there are lots of bakeries and great restaurants. It’s a little bit on the long side for a walk, however
Perfect location, wonderful staff, especially Cheryl who catered to my medical needs. She made adjustments that enabled me to get a comfortable change of scene. We have stayed with Travelodges for many years and have never been disappointed. Thank you Burford Cotswolds.
Great service and nice tidy clean warm room. No negative comments about it. Good all round. Stayed 2 nights and very comfortable.
Nice clean roo., spacious and comfortable Very cold on arrival and took several hours ro warm up. As a budget hotel, not much service on offer but staff helpful. Great location at the roundabout at the top of the hill through Burford. Ideal location for visit to Farmer's Dog. Very good value Will use again.
Cheryl on reception was absolutely amazing, went over and above to make us feel welcome and it's these staff interactions that make Travelodge a great place to stay. We could stay in a house on Airbnb but offer you have to check in and out without seeing anybody. We stay travelodge for the staff.
